Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how CompAgent, Inc. collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the CompAgent service. CompAgent, Inc. is the data controller for the information described below.

1. Information we collect

• Account information you provide: name, email, brokerage, title, license number, phone, and an optional profile photo.
• Report content you enter: property addresses, your notes, condition and adjustment inputs, and client names you add to a report.
• Usage records: which reports you ran and when, for metering and billing.
• Sign-in records: to tell how many devices use an account and to investigate fraud and abuse, we store the IP address you connect from, a coarse browser label such as “Chrome on Mac”, and when that device was first and last seen. We do not keep your full browser identifier. IP addresses are deleted after 90 days; the device record remains without them.
• Payment information: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers — only a token and the last four digits Stripe returns.
• Analytics: our pages load a measurement script from Whop that records page views. It receives the address of the page you visited, the page that referred you, your IP address and browser details, and may set an identifier so repeat visits can be recognised. It does not receive your report contents, your notes, or any client name you enter.

2. Client information — your responsibility

When you enter a client’s name or a subject property into a report, you are the controller of that information. You represent that you have a lawful basis to provide it. We process it only to render your report.

3. How we use information

To operate the Service, generate reports, meter usage, bill your subscription, send transactional email (password reset, receipts, service notices), provide support, and secure and improve the Service. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Third parties who process data for us

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Property-data provider(s) — addresses you look up are sent to obtain comparables and valuation estimates.
• Mapping/geocoding provider(s) — addresses are sent to power autocomplete and property imagery.
• Anthropic — comp data and your notes are sent to generate the optional AI pricing analysis.
• Email delivery provider — to send transactional email.
• Whop — website analytics. Their script runs on every page of the Service, including pages you reach after signing in, and so receives the page addresses you visit along with your IP address and browser details.

5. Retention

We keep account and report data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward, then delete or anonymize it, except where longer retention is required for legal, tax, or accounting purposes.

6. Security

Passwords are stored as salted hashes, never in plain text. Sessions are signed and expire; changing your password revokes other sessions. Payment card data never reaches our servers.

7. Your choices and rights

You can view and edit your profile in Settings, delete individual reports, and request deletion of your account by emailing info@compagent.io. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information; contact us to exercise them.
